The swimming pavilion and tennis courts at Bentwinds Golf & Country
Club offer sport and leisure opportunities for the whole family.
When not out on the golf course, our members can enjoy some
relaxing time together at one of our poolside family gatherings or
challenge each other to a match on our tennis courts.
Swimming Pavilion
Keeping the family oriented atmosphere, Bentwinds pool is great for the entire family to visit. Early mornings or late afternoons, the pool is ideal to relax and enjoy all its surroundings.
Outfitted with a gazebo, members are able to take a break from the sunshine under the shade. Our members, along with their families and guests, find cool relaxation and fun at the
pool with its sparkling cool water, swim lanes, terraces, and diving area.
Avid swimmers can join the Bentwinds Triangle area
competitions.
Pool Rules
All persons dressed in swimming attire must stay within the pool enclosure except for going to and from the parking lot.
Members and guests in swimming attire may not enter the Clubhouse, Golf Shop, Tennis Courts, or Golf Course. Additional Pool Rules include:
No child under 10 years of age shall be left at the pool at any time without the direct supervision of a person 13 years or older.
No glass containers of any kind shall be permitted within the deck or pool area. No food or drinks shall be consumed except in areas designated for this purpose.
Swim Diapers are required for children who are not potty trained. If a child of a member has an accident in the pool requiring the pool to close the member will be required to pay an “Accidental Fee” of $150.00.
Guest Policy
Guest fees shall be charged to the member’s account upon entry of the pool. It is the accompanying member’s responsibility to make sure the guest fee is charged. Please see concession stand attendant. Wake County guests may accompany members a maximum of twice per month and must pay a guest fee upon registering. Guest fees shall be $5.00 per person. Grandchildren (18 years of age or under) will not be charged a guest fee when accompanied by member grandparents. Babysitters will not be charged guest fees when accompanying a member’s child. Member parents must register all eligible sitters at the pool entrance.
 Bentwinds Barracudas
The Bentwinds swim team, the Barracudas hosts and travels to swim meets weekly during the summer months. Parents and children alike take pleasure in the competition and camaraderie it offers. Visit the Barracudas website.
Rental of Pool
Bentwinds Pool offers and excellent location for members or their guests to host an event. The pool hours for private parties are after regular pool hours. Monday – Friday (8:15 pm – 11:00 pm); Saturday (8:15 pm – 11:00 pm); and Sunday (7:15 pm – 11:00 pm).
A  Pool Reservation Form must be completed. All reservations for pool parties must be made through Pool Professionals. A completed form is required with both Pool Professionals and Bentwinds Country Club.
Tennis Courts
The Tennis Facilities at Bentwinds are equipped with 4 hard courts, a backboard and lights for night play. The tennis program is one of our fastest growing programs here at Bentwinds with a diverse group playing. The tennis coach works through out the summer months offering junior and adult clinics and also one-on-one lessons are provided.
A tennis ladder is played in the Spring, Summer and Fall months, including both men and women on the teams. If you are looking for a game, Thursday’s and Sunday’s are mixed doubles. The Tennis Club Championship is played in September including a Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles format.
